Comeco

A refuse truck manufacturer site was rebuilt from a partner agency’s Figma design, with products, service, recruitment and news run as separate content types, live in under a month.

What came in

The previous site for this refuse truck manufacturer had simply aged. Nothing had broken and nothing was moving platforms; the brief was to present the company in a way that would not put off a business partner.

What I built

Products and customer references each run as their own content type, and service and spare parts sit alongside the machines as an equal part of the offer, since the manufacturer sells trucks bought once every few years and run daily, so parts availability matters as much as the vehicle itself. Job postings got their own post type, since recruitment at a manufacturing plant is a constant channel. News and the partner list run separately; five content types is not overreach here, because a different person at the plant fills in each one and none of them needs to come back to me.

Worth knowing

The site was built in autumn 2024, in under a month from the first commit to the production version. With a Figma handoff and a content structure already mapped out, that is what the coding itself takes — on jobs like this, most of the time usually goes into deciding what belongs on the site.
