Workprof
A Danish recruitment agency hiring into construction. The company was starting from nothing, so the logo came first and the site after it, with job adverts run as their own content type.

The company and the site started together
The agency was being founded alongside its website. I designed the logo first and then the site, so a candidate’s first contact with the brand was coherent from the outset.
Job adverts have a structure of their own
The listings run as a separate content type with categories attached and full-text search, rather than as blog posts or pages made by hand.
At a recruitment agency the number of adverts changes every week, and a candidate is looking for a particular trade rather than for chronology. Category and search therefore matter more than the publication date.
Filtering works on two dimensions at once: by kind of work and by form of employment. Next to each filter stands a counter showing how many positions are genuinely waiting, and it counts only the live ones, because a list that promises twelve roles and opens on an empty page costs more trust than the advert is worth.
Closed adverts stop appearing on their own, with no tidying of the list by the agency.
Content written for someone about to move
The site does not stop at a list of positions. It explains what relocating to Denmark involves and what support a candidate can expect after arriving, because that is the first worry of anyone considering work abroad.
Contact with the agency goes through a form.
